MULTIVITAMIN&MULTIMINERAL TABLETS

Multivitamin & Multimineral contains 12 vitamins, 7 minerals and a plant extract.

Of these, vitamin A, vitamin B12, vitamin D and iron contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system. Vitamin A also contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes and skin.

The product also contains other active ingredients with notable physiological effects. For example, the relatively small molecule antioxidant riboflavin, which, together with vitamin A, is involved in normal iron metabolism, and vitamin E, selenium, manganese and zinc contribute to the protection of cells against oxidative stress.

Different life situations and everyday challenges put different demands on our bodies. A varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are the best ways to ensure our body’s energy needs are met. CALCIUM COMPLEX TABLETS

The Calcium Complex tablets in Multi Pro Plus contain organic* calcium pyruvate and inorganic calcium from calcium carbonate sources. Calcium is necessary for normal bone and tooth structure and is also involved in normal transmission of innervation and contributes to normal muscle function. Calcium-rich foods include dairy products, leafy vegetables, legumes and nuts.

MAGNESIUM+CHELATE CAPSULES

The product contains magnesium from both organic* and inorganic sources, namely magnesium bisglycinate and magnesium oxide. Magnesium is largely stored in the bones and muscles, contributes to normal muscle function and is involved in the maintenance of normal skeletal structure, and is a cofactor in many enzymatic reactions in the body and helps to reduce fatigue and tiredness. Magnesium-rich foods include nuts, whole grains, fish and seafood, many vegetables, pulses, berries and bananas.

OMEGA-3 SOFT GELATINE CAPSULES

The omega-3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated, of which α-linolenic acid (ALA) is essential for the human body, which cannot synthesise them. Although the human body is able to produce eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) from ALA, their conversion is limited and varies from individual to individual, so supplementing dietary intake may be worthwhile.

Sea fish are a uniquely rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, as are eggs, meats, milk and flaxseed. Our recommended daily intake contains 1000 mg of fish oil in soft gelatine capsules, including 300 mg of omega-3 fatty acids, of which 165 mg are EPA and 103 mg are DHA.

LECITHIN SOFT GELATINE CAPSULES

Lecithin is an essential component of cells, whether for structure or function. It contains various phospholipid molecules, including phosphatidylcholine, an organic compound containing choline and phosphate. Although the former can be synthesised by the human body, its intake is predominantly provided by a balanced and varied diet. Plant sources include oils from cottonseed, maize, sunflower seed, rapeseed and soya bean, but egg yolk also contains significant amounts. Our product contains lecithin from soybean oil.

GINKGO BILOBA TABLETS

Ginkgo biloba is one of the most ancient tree species, widely known and used for its unique characteristics and cultural significance, and its active ingredients offer a wide range of applications. The leaves of the plant and their extracts contain several types of compounds, of which flavonoids and terpenoids are the most important. The leaf extract in our product is standardised for these two groups of compounds, i.e., as already mentioned in BioPerine^®  black pepper fruit extract, it contains a constant amount of the former active substances.

C1000+BIOFLAVONOIDS CAPSULES

Bioflavonoids belong to the group of polyphenolic compounds, and the representatives present in our products are hesperidin and proanthocyanidin. The former is mainly found in citrus fruits, while the latter is one of the main active substances in the seeds of Vitis vinifera (grapes).
